Uses

[2-[2-(Fmoc-amino)ethoxy]ethoxy]acetic acid is a hydrophilic, heterobifunctional spacer. [2-[2-(Fmoc-amino)-ethoxy]- ethoxy]acetic acid (Fmoc-AEEAc-OH, AnaSpec) residues can be used as PEG spacers. [2-[2-(Fmoc-amino)ethoxy]ethoxy]acetic acid is a coupling agent used in the synthesis of polypeptides or peptides. It is useful to attach chromophores.

Description

Fmoc-AEEAc-OH. Also known as (PEG)2 or Fmoc-8-amino-3,6-dioxaoctanoic acid, is a PEG linker containing an Fmoc-protected amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
